Automating and Streamlining Scale Tickets for Agriculture Operators

Agriculture scale operators know that every minute counts when processing trucks in and out of the yard. Without the right systems and processes in place, managing truck weights and the location of commodities can become manual and time consuming not only in the yard, but also in the back office.

Levridge Scale allows operators to capture accurate data as efficiently as possible, leading to a faster truck processing times and eliminating manual data re-entry. Scale is a web-based solution that ties directly into Dynamics 365, ensuring data flows seamlessly between the two systems, giving each department of your organization access to real-time data, inbound commodities, outbound commodities, and more.

Once logged in, the user can choose which scale they are utilizing, the ticket and bill of lading printer, ticket type or commodity type, and scale operator. This gives you the flexibility to reassign operators and tickets within one window and eliminates any need to log in and out depending on the operator.

Within the ticket, the operator can easily pull up the customer account, which then generates previously saved data about that customer – including customer name, site and split group. Additional fields are available to fill in new information about that specific weigh-point.

Information on trucks in the yard and scale ticket history can be accessed from the one single view.

Once the second weight is captured, users have the ability to enter in data on the vehicle, container, toolbar, and worker. Additionally, notes can be entered that are stored internally within the Levridge system and a separate external note field is available for comments that are printed directly onto the scale ticket.

Once the ticket is completed, the information is not only generated and printed, but also automatically synced back to Dynamics 365 without any further steps or processes.

Within Dynamics 365, you can see a complete list of all scale tickets in real-time and access detailed information about each one. This allows for not only an efficient scale ticketing process, but also can be used to generate accurate reports, allowing your team to make better decisions based on data.
