Each restricted item is listed in the system and fields are set to determine the errors or preventions required for each item. For example, you can toggle on and off settings that prevent or allow sales and invoices, agronomy work orders, sales order entries, and sales pack slips. The certification type and location information are also associated with each chemical.
As growers are issued licenses, that information is submitted to the ag retailer, and that data is then inputted into Levridge.
When an order comes in that includes a restricted-use item, the system will not move forward processing that order until the grower’s contact information is associated. The system will immediately alert the user to any grower that does not have the proper licensing and certification to purchase and distribute the item. This allows ag retailers to easily and accurately track and prevent the distribution or sale of inventory to persons without the proper licensing.
