Why Small and Mid-Sized Businesses Choose the Cloud

What software does Stoneridge implement for small and mid-sized companies?

Stoneridge represents the entire suite of Microsoft Dynamics solutions, including GP, NAV, and CRM. Many small and mid-sized businesses are upgrading to Dynamics 365 Business Central ERP solutions, but we can also help with Dynamics GP or NAV on-premise and Azure-based solutions. We also implement Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Teams.

What options are available for hosting Dynamics GP in Azure?

There are two main scenarios for migrating on-premises Dynamics GP solutions to Azure: (1) a hybrid approach or (2) a total Azure migration. In the hybrid approach, you keep your domain controller on premises but migrate your SQL server, hosting services, and Dynamics GP access to Azure. In a total Azure migration, you move all aspects of your GP infrastructure and all workloads to Azure. Stoneridge can help you assess which approach makes the most sense for your business.

Is Dynamics 365 Business Central cloud-based?

Yes! Dynamics 365 Business Central is hosted in the cloud. That means your team can access the software anywhere and anytime—without a VPN or remote desktop protocol. However, you can also implement Business Central on premises if that’s what your business needs.

What additional functionality does D365 Business Central offer?

In addition to the features mentioned above, D365 Business Central also handles production planning, assembly management, and field service management and includes support for internationalization and various types of regulatory compliance. Plus, we can help you extend Dynamics 365 with independent software vendor (ISV) applications for niche industry functions.

How can Microsoft Dynamics 365 help my business grow?

Dynamics 365 unites all your business systems in one all-encompassing solution and provides powerful insight into your operations. D365 also maximizes operational efficiency by providing opportunities for automation. As a cloud-based, software-as-a-service (SaaS) solution, it’s easy to scale Dynamics 365 as your business grows.

How does Stoneridge help implement Dynamics 365?

Much of the success of an ERP solution depends on your implementation partner. Stoneridge has a well-established track record—we’re a certified Microsoft Solutions Partner with a long history of supporting GP clients. When you’re ready, we can help you migrate to Dynamics 365 Business Central. In fact, we were named Microsoft Partner of the Year for Dynamics 365 Business Central in 2022.
