Eric Newell, Stoneridge Software
Eric Newell is the CEO of Stoneridge Software. In the four-and-a-half years since founding the company, he has led Stoneridge Software through explosive growth in team members, customers, services and product offerings. As a Microsoft Dynamics ERP Gold partner, the company has accomplished many challenging and successful software implementations during this time.
With a combined passion for technology and business excellence, Eric has taken on many internal initiatives to grow in operational excellence as a professional services consulting firm. Reza Maleki, Impact Dakota
Reza Maleki, a Senior Business Advisor with Impact Dakota, has more than 30 years of professional experience which includes serving in four universities in the United States and working as a consultant with diverse manufacturing companies. Reza assists clients in assessing and discovering operational needs and solutions, design and delivery of training materials pertaining to target clients, and providing consulting services to clients to foster their continuous improvement activities. Prior to joining Impact Dakota, Maleki served as the Enterprise Scholar Faculty at North Dakota State University for 11 years teaching and coordinating more than 80 multi-disciplinary industry projects. The main focus of these projects, as well as the consulting work that Maleki has done, was on improving operational efficiencies and productivity. He has been involved in a number of civic and professional organizations and is currently serving as the President of Minn-Dak Manufacturers Association.
Dr. Maleki received all his degrees from North Dakota State University which include a Ph.D. in Engineering and B.S. and M.S. in Industrial Engineering and Management. He is a registered professional engineer, certified manufacturing engineer, and an academic associate of Avraham Y. Goldratt Institute. Maleki uses as many learning opportunities as possible and has completed the requirements for and received certification in Lean Leadership. In 2016 Maleki received a certification recognizing his accomplishments in meeting the standards of a Lean Certified Practitioner which is approved by the American Society for Quality, Association for Manufacturing Excellence, Shingo Institute, and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
Jim Westerman, Microsoft
Jim Westerman has been with Microsoft 15 years. He is a Dynamics 365 for Operations Specialist working with Microsoft customers in the Manufacturing, Distribution and Services industries for the past 7 years. Before that he spent five years as a Microsoft Account Manager working with a portfolio of 16 manufacturing customers. Previous roles include three years as a Business Productivity Advisor, and he started with Microsoft in 2001 as a SQL Server/Business Intelligence (BI) Solution Specialist.
Jim joined Microsoft after spending six years in the manufacturing practice at Accenture, and 5 years at SAP, where he focused on complex manufacturing. He has an MBA in Operations Management from the University of Minnesota, is APICS certified, and has taught Inventory and Production Control at the University of Minnesota.
Ron Rud, Stoneridge Software
Ron Rud is an Enterprise Sales Director at Stoneridge Software focused on Microsoft Dynamics AX and Microsoft Dynamics 365 – Enterprise. Prior to joining Stoneridge, Ron served as a Strategic Solutions Consultant focused on the Internet of Things (IoT) applications at Digi International. Previous employment also includes Director of Sales Operations at former Microsoft partner, Symbiant and President/Owner of NorComp Corporation.
Ron received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
Rich Studer, Stoneridge Software
Rich Studer is a Sales Executive at Stoneridge Software focused on Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Dynamics 365 – Business. Previously Rich served as a Dynamics GP Practice Leader and then Director of Sales and Marketing at Boyer and Associates. Prior to becoming involved in business development he was a Microsoft Dynamics GP consultant for more than 15 years.
Rich received a bachelor’s degree in accounting from St. John’s University.
