The “Do We Really Need AI?” Session

If hearing the words “AI strategy” makes you want to close your laptop, this session is for you. We’ll keep the conversation grounded in real agriculture challenges and opportunities we're seeing right now. By combining data from sensors, drones, weather models, connected equipment, and business systems, AI is helping agriculture businesses make smarter decisions around planting, irrigation, fertilization, harvesting, and day-to-day operations.

As labor shortages, climate variability, and rising input costs continue to pressure the industry, more organizations are turning to automation, AI agents, and modern work tools to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and get more from the resources they already have. Join us for a conversation about where AI is creating real advantages across agriculture.

Turning Technology Investments into Meaningful Change

New systems and technology only make an impact if teams actually adopt them and use them effectively. In this session, we'll bring together many of the themes discussed throughout the day and talk about what it really takes to turn technology investments into meaningful business change.

Organizational change management (OCM) plays a critical role in whether new technology initiatives succeed or stall out. From leadership alignment and team buy-in to training, communication, and day-to-day adoption, we’ll explore practical ways agriculture businesses can help people feel more confident, engaged, and successful as new tools and processes are introduced. Join us for a conversation focused on helping your business move from planning technology changes to actually putting them into action.

Surviving and Thriving in an Ever More Volatile World

In a world ravaged by war, tariffs, recessions, inflation, labor market instability, unprecedented market volatility, and escalating political division and strife, how can we position our businesses to capitalize on the opportunities that do exist?

What can we learn from past price cycles, both boom and bust, and how can we apply it to today? How much of the inflation we are seeing is actually monetary, and how much is due to supply chain or demographic factors? Most importantly, what does all of this mean for your business decisions—whether hiring and marketing, or long-term planning. Join us to hear how Dr. Roberts will bring this together with insight and humor, and walk away with actionable insight to make our businesses more profitable and resilient.
