Integrated Systems Allow Employees to Focus on Customers and Profits

A talented workforce can solve problems by finding well-meaning workaround solutions. That’s what happened with this company. Ingenious solutions attempted to bridge the gaps, but systems and processes were far from optimized. What the business really needed, so they could focus on the customers and profits and not internal processes, was a coordinated, highly functioning ERP solution.

This was a complex rescue project, requiring deep, specialized expertise from the Stoneridge team. One of the goals was to leverage the most out of the standard features of the Dynamic AX solution and minimize customization. This was possible, but required an extremely deep set of AX skills.

Stoneridge built an integrated framework, replacing legacy systems for inventory, general ledger, accounts receivable, and order management. The solution also included integrated product fulfillment, production and manufacturing systems, and automated all invoicing processes across the business. An added layer of complexity (to this already extremely complex project) was that the parent company does not use Dynamics, so the final solutions needed to integrate, hub and spoke, to the parent company’s solution.

  • Centralized financials across various platforms and solutions
  • Consolidation of systems
  • Credit card automation
  • Product fulfillment
  • Inventory management
