Michelle Schumacher

Chief Financial Officer

Michelle Schumacher is the Chief Financial Officer for Stoneridge Software. In addition to her role on the Executive Leadership Team, she oversees the company’s Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis, IT, People and Legal teams, and helps guide the organization’s continued growth as a global Microsoft partner.

Before joining Stoneridge, Michelle worked for Microsoft where she held roles in Corporate Accounting and the Cloud + AI group, supporting complex technical accounting for Microsoft’s cloud and AI business. Prior to joining Microsoft in 2011, Michelle’s career was spent in public accounting.

Michelle is actively involved in the CPA profession and currently serves on the board of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants (AICPA & CIMA), helping guide the strategic direction of the global accounting profession.

She holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, ND, and is an active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Global Management Accountant (CGMA).
