A Simple Upgrade Leads to Big Productivity Gains

What good is a common platform investment if all of the solutions are on different versions? That’s the question this company asked, and then called Stoneridge.

This company already ran a version of Dynamics NAV, they just requested an upgrade so they had better compatibility in their organization along with the rest of their Microsoft technology investment.

For this company, having an older Microsoft NAV solution meant they could not integrate as readily with Microsoft Office or other expense reporting solutions. And potential IT initiatives to update Windows and Office could have caused serious compatibility issues down the road. By putting their ducks in a row now, they are positioned for future growth and increased productivity and time-to-results right away.

Stoneridge upgraded the Microsoft NAV solution, setting the stage for easier integrations to external systems and improved workflows directly within the ERP solution:

  • Full compatibility with MS Office and current versions of Windows
  • Improved tax reporting
  • Easier integration to freight and expense systems
  • Less expensive subsequent development projects

The company leadership at this client is extremely proactive. The entire intention of this upgrade was to maximize overall technology investments, and that’s exactly the result that Stoneridge was able to deliver.
