Two features related to the configurable documents are currently in public preview – direct printing and PDF Conversion. The general availability date is to be announced.

Direct printing will allow you to print any of these documents directly from Dynamics 365, including batch processing which will allow you to print multiple documents at the same time. The conversion to PDF feature will allow you to save any Excel or Word document directly as a PDF using the electronic reporting destination set up.

To make the PDF conversion option available in the current Finance instance, open the Feature management workspace, and turn on the Convert Electronic Reporting outbound documents from Microsoft Office formats to PDF feature.
