The Inheritance section determines what data will be inherited by a Person Contact from the parent Company Contact when a new Person Contact is created. Note: this only applies when a Person Contact is associated with a Company Contact.
Dynamics 365 Business Central Contact Management: Defaults
The Defaults section specifies data that will be automatically assigned to all Contacts when they are created. Note: this data will be overwritten by Inheritance data, if applicable.
