Eric Newell Named To Prairie Business Magazine’s ’40 Under 40′
Prairie Business Magazine has named Eric Newell, President of Stoneridge Software, to this year’s list of 40 Under 40! The list includes 40 business professionals under the age of 40 from around the region who personify a high degree of talent, dedication to their profession, and contribution to their community.
“It’s an honor to be recognized this year,” says Eric. “We’ve just completed our first year of business as Stoneridge Software and it’s been a great ride. We’ve had a good year and have been able to bring an enormous amount of talent to the organization which has helped us to be successful.”
In October, 2012, after more than 13 years at Microsoft, Eric founded Stoneridge Software. As a Microsoft partner organization, Stoneridge Software sells, implements and services Microsoft Dynamics AX accounting and operations software.
Eric has said that this business allows him to combine two of his biggest passions: 1) He loves the challenge of taking complex business issues and figuring out ways to streamline them with technology. 2) He loves to build relationships with customers and help them solve their business problems.
Community involvement has also been a priority for Eric, having served on the local school board, the economic development authority, community education advisory board and as a coach for T-ball and youth basketball.
His commitment to his company, profession, and community are applauded.
Congratulations to Eric Newell and all the other 40 Under 40 nominees!
