How to Troubleshoot Error 1067 in Dynamics AX – AOS Will Not Start
I recently ran into an issue with Dynamics AX on one of my developer's server where the AOS would not start due to error 1067.
So the natural thing would go to the Event Viewer to see the error but then I got the error “Event Log Service is unavailable. Verify that the service is running.”
Sure enough, the service was not running. So, I tried to start Windows Event Log service but I received the error: "Windows could not start the Windows Event Log service on Local Comoputer," and I am logged in as the domain Administrator.
I then found this KB article from Microsoft –

I followed the steps and was then able to start Windows Event log and AOS then also started.
