Stoneridge Pays It Forward Q4 2018

Stoneridge Software continues to give back to the community with the Pay It Forward program and contributed to eleven organizations during the fourth quarter of 2018. This program gives our team members the opportunity to provide a cause, organization, or charity of their choice with a $100 donation. In addition, Stoneridge also made corporate donations to three STEM related causes and organizations. Listed below are the organizations that were chosen for donations during the fourth quarter of 2018.

Q4 Corporate Donations

MN High Tech Association Scholarship Fund

This is a scholarship fund for Minnesota undergraduate students in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) disciplines.

Code Savvy

The main focus of Code Savvy is the development of opportunities for youth to engage in coding activities. Mentor provide support and encouragement for youth ages 8-17 in a variety of environments and locations through the Twin Cities and greater MN area.

Aspirations for Women in Computing

Aspirations for Women in Computing honors young women at the high-school level for their computing-related achievements and interests. Award recipients will be selected for their computing and IT aptitude, leadership ability, academic history, and plans for post-secondary education.

Alzheimer’s Association

The Alzheimer's Association is the leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer's care, support and research. BioGirls Hawley

BIO Girls is on a mission to build confidence in adolescent girls through empowerment of self and service to others. BIO Girls exists to help girls maintain a healthy self-esteem and build the skills necessary to navigate adolescence with grace. With 62% of adolescent girls suffering from low self-esteem, they are working to prohibit the destructive behaviors associated with it such as disordered eating, drug, and alcohol abuse, teen pregnancy or self-harm. Hope Lodge - American Cancer Society

Each Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers a free place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Not having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for lodging allows guests to focus on getting better. Hope Lodge provides a nurturing, home-like environment where guests can retreat to private rooms or connect with others. Every Hope Lodge also offers a variety of resources and information about cancer and how best to fight the disease.

Great Plains Food Bank

The Great Plains Food Bank's mission is to end hunger in North Dakota and western Minnesota through community partnerships. They are the largest hunger-relief organization in North Dakota and serve as its only food bank. Each year, the Great Plains Food Bank touches the lives of one in nine individuals who seek emergency food assistance.
