Get Started with Sales Order Agent Quickly
If you’d like to get started on your own, it’s extremely easy to do so. There are only a few steps:
- Choose a sandbox to test in
- Create or choose an existing Shared Mailbox to use for testing
- Finally – Use the following steps to activate the Sales Order Agent in the sandbox environment
Steps to Activate the Sales Order Agent
1.
In the Sandbox, navigate to the ‘Extension Management’ window, find the ‘Sales Order Agent’ extension and open it, toggle on the ‘Allow HttpClient Requests’ button.
2.
Click the following button at the top of your Business Central environment, and then select ‘Activate’.
3.
Switch the toggle to ‘Active’
4.
Add the Email Account (shared mailbox) you want the agent to monitor for incoming customer requests.
5.
Click the Update button
6.
Send some emails to the shared mailbox pretending to be a customer asking for a quote. Experiment and see how the agent responds.
