Inc. Magazine Names Stoneridge to List of Best Workplaces for 2021
Stoneridge Software is one of the highest-scoring businesses, with winning employee engagement and great culture
Stoneridge Software has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2021. The list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of American companies that have created exceptional workplaces through vibrant cultures, deep employee engagement, and stellar benefits.
Stoneridge Software includes nearly 200 employees, three offices, and team members located in 23 different states.
Collecting data from more than 3,000 company submissions, and surveying 370,000 employees, Inc. singled out 429 finalists for this year’s list. Each nominated company took part in an employee survey, conducted by a third party, Quantum Workplace, on topics including trust, management effectiveness, perks, and confidence in the future. Inc. gathered, analyzed, and audited the data. Then all employers were ranked using a composite score of survey results.
The strongest scores came from companies that supported strong policies to keep their employees engaged.
“To be included in the Inc. Best Workplaces is a real win for our employer,” says Chief People Officer Betsy Johnson. “We have always offered the opportunity to work remotely, which served our employees well during a transition of office closures. During the tumultuous past year, both our leadership and team members have strived to find ways to stay connected and support each other. It’s wonderful to receive this honor and know that our team continues to hold Stoneridge in high regard as a home for their careers. We continue to analyze and offer many unique benefits, including unlimited vacation time, 100 percent employer paid health insurance, paid parental leave, and $2,500 per year per employee for learning and development activities.”
“All winners have something special in common: a culture that encourages people in a way that allows teams to stay strong in the office or in one’s home office—even if the home office is at the kitchen table!,” says Inc. magazine editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk.
