Public preview for this feature started in June 2023 and it will be available in January 2024.
Copilot for Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management
Here are some of the new AI features you can use in Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management:
Add AI-powered chatbots to your apps or websites

This feature is particularly beneficial for businesses running e-commerce websites, enabling the development of chatbots to enhance the conversational search experience for users.
Public preview for this feature began in November 2023 and general availability has yet to be announced.
Users can utilize conversational product help and guidance
Your team members can easily access role-specific guidance, ask plain-language queries about tasks and configurations, and obtain information on key concepts using AI. This streamlines the learning process and optimizes the utilization of Supply Chain Management functionalities.
This feature is in public preview, but general availability has yet to be announced.
Make smarter purchasing decisions with Copilot
Purchasing employees can make more informed decisions by taking advantage of Copilot’s conversational experience in procure-to-pay processes. Copilot helps users filter and organize changes and make more informed decisions. Users can access the public preview for this feature in January 2024. General availability is to be determined.
Purchase Order summarization
This feature has been available since December 4, 2023. It allows you to use AI to summarize changes and facilitate smarter decision-making by providing a clear overview of potential delays in sales, production, maintenance work orders, and more. This feature aims to mitigate the ripple effect changes in the procurement process can have.
Check inventory with natural language capabilities
You will soon be able to search omnichannel inventory stock levels using natural language chat, eliminating the need for specific details or navigation paths. This user-friendly feature gives you instant results without having to log into another app or memorize complex API interactions.
It is in public preview and is expected to be available sometime in 2024.
