Dynamics AX 2012 R2 Cumulative Update 9 and Other Compatibility Updates

Microsoft has released its latest Cumulative Update for Dynamics AX 2012 R2 – Cumulative Update 9 (CU9).

Cumulative Update 9 is the fifth Cumulative Update for Dynamics AX 2012 R2. I don't see any updated documentation on TechNet related to this releases. The best place to go to understand the changes is the KB article linked above.
As always, our recommendation for applying a Cumulative Update depends on where you are in your deployment lifecycle. If you are a brand new customer who has not yet started development on AX 2012, we recommend you apply it. If you are into the development phase or you’re live on AX 2012 R2 or earlier, you will want to consider if the new features will benefit you and then determine a project plan for applying the update. - Microsoft also announced compatibility with Windows 10 for AX 2012 R2. R3 compatibility will be announced in the next 2-3 weeks.
