What Components are Examined in a Dynamics AX Health Check?

By Catherine Thole | January 8, 2016

The long term use and stability of your Dynamics AX system depends upon optimal setup. Our team offers an AX Health Check service to review several areas through the eyes of an expert. Our experience, outside perspective, and knowledge of best practices, allows us to investigate some of the most common problem areas.  Our technical consultants perform a Dynamics AX system review to examine several components and put together a scorecard and an executive Health Check Summary Report, complete with a list of issues flagged by risk level and suggested steps for remediation.

If Stoneridge Software performs a Dynamics AX Health Check, we’re looking at the following items to make sure they are optimally configured:

Dynamics AX

  • System settings such as database logging, alerts, security, caching, number sequences, AIF/Services, and virtual companies
  • Batch configuration
