Becky Newell Comes to Stoneridge Software

Stoneridge Software is thrilled to add Becky Newell to its growing team of Dynamics AX experts.  Becky joins after spending the last 14 1/2 years at Microsoft, most recently as a Senior Escalation Engineer on the Dynamics AX support team.  In her time at Microsoft, she spent most of her years in support, first for Dynamics GP, then with the last 6 years as a Developer Support Engineer for Dynamics AX.  In between those stints in support, she worked on the Dynamics platform development team, learning the foundation of the product and how to develop in a team atmosphere.

In her role, Becky had 2 months of time prior to the release of Dynamics AX 2012 to focus on learning the new platform and training her team members on the development changes in the new release.  Since the product released, she's been on the front-line working with customers and partners to guide them to the right path to accomplish their goals with the various customization options provided by AX.  She has trained numerous classes internally and externally on Development I, II, III and IV and Enterprise Portal development as well as developing with Services in AX.

Becky started the Dynamics AX support blog and it's become one of the most popular blogs on MSDN - the most popular one related to Dynamics AX.  She's written 75 blogs on various aspects of development over the past few years - she has a ton of experience with all aspects of AX 2012 and 2009 development and can bring her experience to help you accomplish your goals quickly.

Becky will be serving as the Principal Developer at Stoneridge Software.  In that role, she'll be focusing on customizations and report creation with a specific focus on training development teams to be self-sufficient.  She enjoys the chance to teach developers how Dynamics AX works - giving them a good understanding of the X++ language and AX development environment.

Becky has the following certifications on Dynamics AX:

  • Development (2012, 2009)
  • Enterprise Portal Development (2009, 4.0)
  • MorphX Development (2009)
  • Financials (2009)
  • SharePoint 2010 Development
