Am I a Good Fit for the Starter Upgrade Package?

In order to take advantage of this offering you should be a current Dynamics GP user who relies on the core functionality within the system, which could include:

  • Finances
  • Fixed Assets
  • Inventory
  • Purchasing/AP
  • Sales/AR

What if I Have Other Needs Beyond the Basic Out of the Box Areas Listed?

  • Highlight benefits for each user based on department or role
  • Answer any questions or concerns your users may have
  • Help your users understand the rapid 3 week time frame of the project.

Clean Up Data

Evaluating your data is a core area of consideration when planning your transition from Dynamics GP to Dynamics 365 Business Central. Your upgrade is the prime opportunity for you to address any data issues that may haunt your current GP environment. Verifying the integrity of the data, history, and what you need moving forward is the base level of information you’ll need to gather to determine how you want to proceed with your data.

  • Evaluate Data Integrity for Master Data Including Customers, Vendors, and Inventory
  • Assess Historical Information
  • Look for Redundant Data
  • Remove inaccurate information or data you no longer need

Are There Additional Costs?

If you only need the base functionality within Dynamics 365 Business Central, you’ll have no other costs outside of licensing and the set implementation fee.

Other additional costs that may occur would be related to additional functionality or add-ons you would like in the system. All of these costs will be discussed with you prior to the implementation starts.

Any functionality or reports outside of out-of-the-box offerings will be an additional cost.

Any time outside of the three-week implementation period is an additional cost.

How do my Ongoing Costs Compare With Dynamics GP?

Dynamics GP requires an annual enhancement fee, along with costs related to implementing upgrades and new features within the system.

With Dynamics 365 Business Central you pay a monthly fee per user and can scale up or down your license level at any time. Stoneridge provides support services at a pay-as-you-go rate or at a locked-in monthly subscription rate. The monthly subscription helps you to plan and control your costs and ensures you’re always on the latest release and can take advantage of new features and functionality as soon as they’re released.
