This would work with a Vendor, and Employee, and a SalesPerson. Link to open a Microsoft Teams chat window with a contact that has been added to a Customer. This would work with a Vendor, and Employee, and a SalesPerson.
Create your Custom Link
On the Internet Information Window for the customer
Add https://teams.microsoft.com/l/chat/0/0?users=username@company.ca
Replace username@company.ca with the contact email address
Anywhere that there is a Customer Link now there is a second link that will open a Teams Chat window.
