Microsoft has enhanced the note-taking experience in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CRM) by introducing rich text notes in the timeline. Keyword searching across notes, activities, and posts is also now available. These new features enrich the user experience and make the task, and activity management easier than ever!
Now when you create a new note, you can emphasize specific words, and phrases by changing the font color, highlighting text, adding bullet points, indenting text, and much more!
After the note is created, the text displayed in the timeline will be plain text.
By clicking on the note, the rich text formatting becomes visible.
Keyword searching is also a newly enabled feature in the spring release. This allows users to quickly search for and find records with the searched keyword(s) in the timeline.
Another great new feature is the ability to quickly see the status of an activity. A tag is located underneath every activity record. The tags indicate whether the activity is Active, Closed, or Overdue. With this new feature, users can easily assess the status of every activity at a glance.
Enhanced filters allow users to filter on items such as user-generated posts, auto-generated posts, activity type, and status.
With these new features, note-taking, and activity management in Dynamics 365 CE is easier than ever!
