The Sails Are No Longer Shipping
Microsoft announced this week at their Worldwide Partner Conference in Orlando, FL that the logo for Microsoft Dynamics, which included a visual of three sails, is going away.
When it first released, the sails were yellow/orange, blue and green but with the more recent releases they've moved to be dark blue on white or white on a dark blue background.
Microsoft has stated that they will just use the text Microsoft Dynamics, with no logo, in their marketing going forward.
I noticed my CRM Tablet app icon changed from the sails to this recently, so perhaps we'll see new logos for Dynamics CRM and the ERP products:
Microsoft has not communicated further beyond the fact the sails are going away, so we'll see what happens next.
